The best way to enjoy it, is from the comfort of your own luxury villa. Fully kitted out with state-of-the art facilities, many including hot tubs and private gyms, it’s the perfect way to unwind after a hard day on the slopes.

But it’s equally as magical come summer, when the green and yellow foliage attracts another type of outdoor crowds. Ideal for hiking, cycling and watersports it’s the best time to get back to nature in the glorious Colorado sunshine.

A RUN FOR YOUR MONEY

Whether you’re a newbie or pro, there’s plenty of ski runs for all levels with free shuttle buses to get about. And
if snow and ski isn’t your thing, the famous Apres-ski is sure to be! From the moment you step outside there’s
something to do. For most, this starts with a whirl on the slopes. There are four in total, collectively referred to
as Aspen Snowmass. After a day on the snow, head back to your luxury Aspen villa to unwind in the hot tub
and soothe your aching legs. But not for long – the vibrant night scene beckons your call!

Snowmass itself is the largest, compromising 3,128 acres. Known for its generous cruiser runs, this lends itself as a popular family-friendly destination. There’s endless restaurants, ski lifts and even a gondola, inviting you to stay all day. However, at 16km away from base, you’d be wise to plan ahead.

Described as a mountain with ‘two personalities’ Buttermilk is a good starting point for easing you into Aspen life. It’s largely uncrowded and many of the terrains are forgiving, making it suitable for novices. But, to its other side, this is also the home of the X-Games, making it equally popular with freestyle riders pushing themselves to their limits.

When it’s time to take it up a notch, the Aspen Highlands are best reserved for advanced riders. The dramatic upper mountain terrain is a heartland for skiers, while The Highland Bowl has been described as the ‘crown jewel’ of the Highlands. Hard to access, the summit sits 12,392 feet above sea level.
